Chris Tuckers Florida Mansion, Foreclosure Papers Filed Against His Home

chris tucker
At least Chris Tucker has shown a sense of humor about the massive bill he owes the IRS and the looming foreclosure on his Montverde real estate mansion.
The comedian, 39, who starred with Jackie Chan in the hit movie Rush Hour, has been in the clubs cracking jokes about his personal economic collapse, including a recent set thatMiami New Times caught:
Thats the last time I let Wesley Snipes help me out with my taxes, Tucker quipped, referring to the actor serving prison time for failure to file tax returns.
But court papers filed in Lake County, FL, arent quite a laughing matter. According to theOrlando Sentinel, the IRS imposed an $11M lien against the home that Tucker bought in 2007 for $6M.Tucker owes more than $4M on the high-octane digs in the ritzy Bella Collina enclave and is on the hook for monthly mortgage payments of $25,812.50.
According to appraisal reports, the Bella Collina property is valued at $1.6M. Only 40 of the 800 lots were ever developed.
The Lake Apopka community that Tucker bought into at the height of the real estate market was such a stunning example of the luxury real estate boom that it was featured on Street of Dreams. The eight original parcels were sold for as much as $1M for the land alone.
Tuckers home includes five bedrooms, three fireplaces, a personal spa in the master suite, a kitchen that overlooks a swimming pool and a basement designed to look like a pirate ship.
While Tucker might have joked about it in Miami, the comedian may be headed home to take care of business. He is supposed to perform in Houston on Oct. 14, but Tucker has canceled his Oct. 16 stand-up show in Albany, NY
