Baseball Player Reggie Sanders Selling in Arizona (PHOTOS)

Reggie Sanders, one of the most consistent baseball players of the late 90s and early 2000s, has listed his Scottsdale, AZ house for $2,195,000.

Coming in at just under 8,000 square feet, the 6 bed, 7 bath home was built in 1999 and covers just under an acre of land. Sanders and his wife purchased the home in December, 2002 for $1,395,000 and look to be making a healthy return on their investment.

Along with a swimming pool (an Arizona necessity), spa and waterfall in the backyard, the Spanish-style home includes a master chef kitchen, a bonus room with a wet bar, and a den with built-in cherry wood cabinets. Located on a cul-de-sac in a gated community, the home also features a split floor plan that separates the family and guest wings as well as ornate columns and designs throughout the house.

After making it to The Show in 1991 with the Cincinnati Reds, Sanders went on to have a very successful Major League Baseball career that spanned 17 seasons with eight different teams. He was selected to the National League All-Star team in 1995 and was a member of six playoff teams, including a World Series championship in 2001 with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Other career highlights for the right fielder include being the fifth player to hit 300 home runs and steal 300 bases over the course of his career as well as being the only player to hit at least 20 homers in a season for six different teams.
