Katie Holmes Embraces Her Dark Side

Wow, I barely even recognized Katie Holmes in the August issue of Vogue Spain.  She looks seriously thin, right?  Good God woman, eat a sweet muffin with extra butter or something!

This picture is freaking me out a little.  I know that Katie Holmes is taller than her wee little husband, Tom, but she looks ginormous here.  And he looks like a small child.  Is she taking him to his first day of kindergarten?  I mean, all he needs is a backpack.  And is that a dress she's wearing?  Because, I think it may be a pillowcase.  I guess Tom's got one thing going for him.  He's not Elijah Wood:

No make-up. No fabulous hair. Honestly, there's not a whole lot of pretty going on here, and it made me feel good. Sorry, Katie. You're just kinda normal. Well, sort of. Aside from whole married to Tom Cruise and having an alien baby.

I didn't catch the live version and I have to say I'm glad. Mrs. Scientology's performance was talked and teased and dangled in front of us for months. And this is it? I mean, really? This. Is. It? How... booooooring. Aside from her gorgeous gams, what else is there to look at here? The back up dancers do a better job dancing than she does. There's no action. No spark. No... dancing.
