Blogger Matt Drudge Picks Up A Second South Florida Home (PHOTOS)
Matt Drudge, the fedora-sporting blogger, author and creator of The Drudge Report is expanding his reach in South Florida. The Miami Herald reports that Drudge recently bought his second home in the South Miami-Dade area. His new home is located in the Redlands area of Miami, Florida.
The five-bedroom home on four acres has lush landscaping that provides plenty of privacy for the often-secretive writer and his high-profile cronies. Features include marble and wood floors, upgraded closets and a gourmet kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances. Drudge can unwind in the master suite which has a soothing waterfall, jacuzzi, double shower and steam room. The pool has a large entertainment gazebo with a bar. His safety is assured by a gated entrance with security cameras and an alarm system and when he�s ready to venture out, he�s only 30 minutes from the beaches. He reportedly paid $1.45 million in cash for this home and as Business Insider mentions he bought a his first home in the area in 2003 for $1.4 million.
