His artwork is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art and the Getty Museum and in 2009 he was invited to join a group of artists for an audience with His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI in the Sistine Chapel. This was the first time a pope had hosted artists in the Sistine Chapel since the Renaissance.
