Sienna Millers London Home (Turkish Spa Included)

by HOOKEDONHOUSES on OCTOBER 6, 2009

Actress Sienna Miller has put her 2 bedroom, 2 bath house in London on the market for 995,000 (roughly $1.5 million).

Im not sure what you call this style exactly. Its sort of contemporary with some Moroccan lanterns hanging here and there. Oh, and I see a pair of antlers, which means she probably readDomino before it folded. That magazine loved rooms with antlers, didnt it?

Check out the bookshelves that hold no booksbut plenty of hats. Considering how often weve seen Sienna wearing them, I guess it makes sense that she would need someplace to keep them all.

The house boasts a Turkish Spa and Sauna in the basement. Thats right. So she can toss her hat on the shelf after a long day of filming and head downstairs to relax.

This story was first reported by the London House Hound, who writes a great blog I found recently called BrickWork. Head over there to learn more about Millers house and see exterior photos. You can see the listing here.

We all know about her ill-fated engagement to Jude Law. But did you know Sienna Miller dated Rhys Ifans for awhile, too?

If he looks familiar, its because he played Hughs scruffy Welsh flatmate Spike in the romantic comedy Notting Hill. Maybe this scene from the movie will jog your memory:

You can see the post I wrote about Notting Hill, along with more photos of Ifans character Spike, here.

Visit Celebrity Houses for links to all the other famous homes Ive featured. The most popular this week: Christie Brinkley and Nicolas Cage.

Mel Gibsons Tudor-Style Mansion in Greenwich

According to the Daily Mail, Mel Gibsons house in Greenwich, Connecticut, just wont sell. Its been on the market since 2007, when the price was set at $39.5 million. Two years later, it has been slashed to a paltry $29.75 million. So if you love a good bargain, nows your chance to snap it up!
Old Mill Farm was designed and built by the architect Charles Lewis Bowman in 1926 for a client who loved horses. It has 15 bedrooms and 17 bathrooms, with 16,000 square feet.
The grand living room with cathedral ceilings, dark wood-paneled walls, and stained-glass windows:
The house comes with a maze on the property. I love the gate leading to it:
I think I could be perfectly happy living in the charming staff quarters:
The house sits on 77 acres. The grounds and formal gardens were beautifully designed by landscape designer James Doyle.
Gibson has been in the news a lot lately since Robyn, his wife of 28 years and the mother of his 7 children, filed for divorce. Soon after, he announced that he is expecting an 8th with his Russian girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva. He said we can now refer to him as Octo-Dad. (Id rather not.)
