Mark Pincus may be focused on the launch of Zynga Inc.s IPO later this week, but that has not stopped the internet entrepreneur from making waves in another exchange: the San Francisco real estate market. Fresh off of listing his Presidio Heights manse for $8.9 million, the social-gaming mogul and his wife have put a second home up for sale; a 2,875-square-foot property located on Shader St. in the affluent San Francisco, California neighborhood of Cole Valley. The couple is asking $1.97 million for the newly listed house.
Built in the 1940s, the multi-level home lies within walking distance of Haight-Ashbury and Buena Vista Park, and enjoys panoramic views of city and Golden Gate Bridge. Much like the Presidio Heights property, the interior of the three-bedroom, three-bathroom Cole Valley home has undergone a meticulous and modernized transformation thanks to the designer hand of Ms. Pincus, whose popular online home dcor startup One Kings Lane raised more than $67 million from venture-capital and private-equity funding earlier this year. The propertys main level features a sweeping floor plan that includes a contemporary living room and side-nook design that runs into a relaxed dining area and streamlined kitchen, while the second-floor offers three bedrooms, including master suite with a glass-ensconced master bath and private walk-out patio deck.
Slated to publicly launch on Thursday, December 17th, analysts predict the Zynga IPO will raise anywhere from $850 million to $1.15 billion on the Nasdaq stock exchange, with 100 million of the tech companys shares trading at anywhere from $8.50 to $10 a share. Founded by Pincus in 2007, Zynga has produced a slew of online gaming titles, of which some of the more popular are FarmVilleMafia Wars and Words with Friends. The social network game developer boasts more than 200 million active users a month on Facebook.

Photos of Britney Spears Rental, Thousand Oaks

Is this Britney Spears new Thousand Oaks rental? (PHOTOS)

Our favorite celebrity real estate mama brings word today that pop princess and serial home jumper, Britney Spears, is on the move again. This time around, Britney is headed for Thousand Oaks, California where, according to The Real Estalker, she will be leasing a big, beige stone and stucco mcmansion that overlooks one of the fairways at the posh golf community of Sherwood Country Club Estates.

If sources hold true, Britney will be slightly downsizing with her next real estate move. She was previously leasing a 19,100-square-foot mansion with 10-bedrooms and 13-bathroooms in Hidden Hills, California; however, her new spread is reportedly a two-story structure that measures in at a little over 10,500-square-feet and includes a total of a five bathrooms and six-and-a-half baths. The Thousand Oaks property features fine, custom-designed aesthetic details such as inlaid marble and wood flooring, heavily detailed wrought-iron staircases and exposed-beam ceilings in various areas throughout. The home also includes a wealth of desirable amenities like a sprawling entertainment room, custom theater, wood-paneled library and chefs kitchen. The resort-style backyard looks out over the golf course and comes complete with a massive cabana and outdoor kitchen combination, infinity pool and an expansive field of grass that could be the perfect play area for Britneys children, Sean and Jayden.

Inside Ellen DeGeneres Beverly Hills estate

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi

The design-savvy stars transform a Beverly Hills estate into a home that is perfectif perhaps not permanent

Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres at their Beverly Hills house, which was designed by architects Buff & Hensman and later expanded by decorator Melinda Ritz. In a sitting area adjacent to the kitchen, an 18th-century French worktable is paired with a suite of vintage bent-plywood chairs by Gerald Summers; the large painting is an Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat collaboration, and the drawing to its left is by Bill Traylor. The cocktail table is 19th-century Belgian, the torchre is by Waldos Designs, and the Kirman rug is antique.

A Ping-Pong table by Argentine artist Rirkrit Tiravanija makes a playful statement in the entrance hall, which features a Spanish Colonial bench from Lief and a Serge Mouille chandelier; the 19th-century Agra carpet is from the Melrose Project.

In the living room, a pair of slipcovered sofas and a cocktail table, all by Kathleen Clements Design, are grouped with Louis XVI bergres; the Avalon blanket is by Herms, and the fringed throw is an antique textile. A mixed-media sculpture by Catherine Willis takes pride of place over the hearth; to its left are a Roman bust and works by Mark Grotjahn and Ed Ruscha. A Ruth Asawa sculpture hangs to the right of the fireplace
