Beyonce Knowles vs. Taylor Swift: Celebrity Home Showdown

In yesterday�s Celebrity Home Showdown, Jennifer Aniston�s Beverly Hills Estate beat out Brad Pitt�s Beach House.

In today�s face off, Beyonce Knowles is taking on Taylor Swift for the ultimate celebrity home of 2011.

The Houston, Texas home that Beyonce Knowles bought for her mother Tina in 2004 hit the market in September 2011 for $3.499 million. Inside the home (at top,) the open floor plan includes a great room with soaring ceilings; chef�s kitchen with designer finishes; master suite with a fireplace, study and coffee bar; game and media rooms; gym; and guest/pool house. The home is currently decorated with a wide variety of colorful art and sculpture.



Taylor Swift listed her Nashville home (above) for $1.45 million in July 2011. This 4 bed, 4.5 bath, 4,929 square foot Tudor-style home was built in 1925 and is located in the historic Whitland neighborhood. Amenities include a library, wood burning fireplace, and an outdoor entertainment area. The house has recently been renovated, expanded, and restored. The interior features hardwood floors throughout, wood paneling, marble bathroom floors, and intricate molded ceilings.

Celebrity Home Showdown: Brad Pitt vs. Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo

Welcome to REALTOR.com�s Celebrity Home Showdown 2011. The homes facing off in today�s vote are Brad Pitt�s Malibu Beach retreat and Nick Lachey & Vanessa Minnillo�s Encino pad.

Brad Pitt purchased this beach escape (above) in August 2011 for 13.75 million. The 4 bed, 4 bath, 4,088 square foot home on the Encinal Bluffs faces Point Mugu State Park on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other. The Mid-Century Modern main house was recently renovated and its luxe amenities include a modern stainless kitchen with top-line appliances, bamboo flooring, and walls of glass that look out over the ocean.

Singer Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo purchased their home back in September 2011 for $2.85 million. The 8,000 square foot Spanish style home, located in the hills near the Encino Reservoir, was built in 1983 and has a total of 18 rooms. The living spaces and bedrooms feature vaulted beam ceilings and fireplaces for a stylishly rustic feel.
