The Martha's Vineyard estate where the Obama family has vacationed for the past three years is about to hit the market for $24.5 million, according to the Hollywood Reporter (via Curbed).
The owner, Republican businessman William Van Devender, will officially put the 28.5-acre estate, known as Blue Heron Farm, on sale in mid-September.
According to the Hollywood Reporter:
The compound, which has hosted the Obamas three years running and has been rented out for $50,000 a week, is on Tisbury Great Pond in the town of Chilmark and includes two residences, equestrian facilities, a bocce ball court and a full gym.
Obama and his family were visiting the estate in late August when Hurricane Irene hit; the President cut his vacation short to return to Washington D.C. before the storm arrived.
He isn't the first President to spent time on the estate; Bill Clinton also attended a dinner there in 1998
